Reckless Driving Charges
There are two ways to be charged with reckless driving: Reckless driving by speed and general reckless driving.
Reckless driving by speed — You may be found guilty of reckless driving if you exceed the speed limit prescribed by law. Driving 20 miles per hour above the speed limit or in excess of 80 miles per hour regardless of the maximum speed limit could result in a speeding ticket and a fine.
